New World of Moose drawing now at Mill

The new drawing inspired by comments in the visitor's book during our spring exhibition of Exmouth artist Moose Allain is now on display in the gallery.  Over 330 of you recorded your pet-names and favourite words, from Albert to Ziggy and Aardvark to Zanzibar, and Moose has created fun characters to represent the entries in a grid of 338 cells.  The finished work is a touching and amusing record of your thoughts as you passed through the exhibition and provides a fascinating snapshot of Who We Are And What We Think.  Thanks to all of you who took part, whether from Devon or Doncaster, Berlin, the Bahamas or Brisbane!

The work is available as an original drawing, and also in poster format.  £5 from each sale will be dedicated to the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the Mill and its ancient workings.

For more information on the work click here.

You can purchase the original drawing from the gallery for £1,200, while the posters are available for £35. If you are not able to visit the gallery in person, please call us on 01395 568008 to make a purchase over the phone. We are happy to arrange for the work to be sent to you (postage + packing extra). You can also email us with any enquiries via our contact page.
