Spring's arrival heralds a new era for our Mill building. Having listened intently to customers over the past year, we're making a number of changes to the mix of art, crafts and other products available for retail in our new ‘Mill Shop'. Mill visitors love looking at our locally sourced art and high end-crafts, but unfortunately these sales are no longer paying our bills. So, in response to your feedback and suggestions,we're launching new ranges of homeware, cookware and wildlife products to enhance the Mill as a destination for unique gifts and items for the home and garden.
Many of these new products will be sustainably sourced, including local crafts and wildlife products supplied by our wildlife partners the RSPB and DevonWildlife Trust. As ever, we'll continue to support local artists and crafts people by offering their wonderful creations, alongside our new retail ranges.
Our new Wildlife Shop is the first addition. You'll find a great selection of unique feeds, feeders and habitats for everything from birds and bees, and hedgehogs to toads, to help you encourage and safeguard the natural wildlife in your garden.
Coming soon is our Cook Shop, offering a wide range of kitchen utensils and aids to help you make the most of your home cooking and baking, plus a beautiful selection of tableware to show off the fruits of your labours!
In our Craft Shop, look out for the fun and irreverent handmade bottlestops from Laureston Designs; warm Quirqui fleeces in new colours and styles; innovative gifts from Filbert's Bees including lip balm and candle rolling kits; unique knitted brooches by Jenny Hines in the shape of birds, flowers and ladybirds; and colourful glass window hangings from Miroulla Constantinou.
