A wet but wonderful night for Boo audience

We braved the horrendous weather last night for the Boo Hewerdine gig, and a fantastic time was had by all.  The rain was coming down in buckets, but the audience gamely donned their waterproofs and adopted a Dunkirk spirit.  Boo was a true professional and delivered a wonderful session that had us all singing along in the rain.  A big thank-you to Caroline Laurenti for the last minute loan of her 3 gazebos - we managed to keep everyone more or less dry.  Thanks also to Ian Briggs for his impromptu harmonica accompaniments on stage.  Thanks to my staff for their hard work, and the audience for being so jolly despite the weather.  And thanks to Boo for giving us a night to remember!  Let's hope for sunshine next week....
