Join one of our most popular artists at the Mill, photographer Adrian Oakes, to learn the secrets of digital photography. During 6 sessions, Adrian will take you through everything from the basics, to shooting landscapes, people and animals, macro photography and post-processing. You can choose to attend one session only, or the whole series. See the course outline below for details of each workshop.
The course runs every Monday evening from 4th October to 8th November, from 6.30pm to 9.00pm, and is held in the Mill's restaurant. Call 01395 568521, or call into our craft shop in the Mill building to book your place. Cost: £12.50 per session, or £70 for all 6.
A bit about Adrian...
Adrian Oakes is a successful and well known Landscape photographer based in Devon with many years of experience behind the camera. He has published two hardback books with Halsgrove, based on Dartmoor with a third on the way in September and a fourth new title in 2011. His images have also been used recently in the Devon Walkers Journal, Devon Address book and most of the images including the cover of the Dartmoor address book. Adrian's images have appeared on book and magazine covers and are used by companies for promotion, brochures and publicity. He also sells his work through many outlets including the DNPA, National Trust, Tourist information centres, Otterton Mill, Becky Falls and many others throughout Devon.

A one hour computer post processing session for images. Use of Adobe Elements or CS4
