Outdoor theatre and food night: 'Cardenio'

On Midsummer's Eve (Sat 20^th June), the Alternative Cambridge Theatre (TACT) will perform Shakespeare's ‘lost' play Cardenio in the Mill's Courtyard. This unique staging presents an original re-working of the script by Bernard Richards and is perhaps as close as we'll ever get to the truth of this lost work. Perfect for Midsummer, this tragi-comedy follows the fortunes of four lovers in a tale of rivalry and betrayal before the final resolution.

A sumptuous barbequed supper on the sun-terrace will precede the play, with strawberries and cream in the interval.
