Noel Coward is best known as an actor, author, director, comedian, composer and raconteur. But away from Broadway, the West End and the film studios, he was also one of the biggest stars in the 1920's and 30's cabaret scene. Join acclaimed local actor Alec Fellows-Bennett for an evening of "art deco" cabaret and classic Coward wit.
Doors open at 7.30pm. Dinner and welcome cocktail included. Menu to be published shortly (vegetarian options available)
Tickets are £28.50. To book, please call 01395 568521, or visit our craft shop in the Mill building.

Alec is well-known to Mill audiences, and has performed here regularly over the past couple of years. As founder and director of The Idle Theme Theatre Company, Alec has led sell-out performances of Oscar Wilde's plays in our summer theatre productions, as well as performed his one-man show Ghost Stories in the autumn of 2010, and his Burn's Night cabaret in January 2011, both to a packed house.
About The Idle Theme Theatre Company
The Idle Theme Theatre Company was formed in 2009 by local actor/director Alec Fellows-Bennett to create theatre for often unusual theatrical spaces, bringing captivating stories and drama to a wide range of local theatres, gardens and historic buildings. Common to all of its performances is the aim to bring each venue to life as part of the production, whether that may be through re-imaging classic plays and stories or creating entirely new works for the spaces in which the plays are performed. The Company emphasises clear storytelling in all of its productions, borrowing from the early modern stagecraft of the very first touring companies and mixing this with modern performance styles to create engaging theatre.
