Food Tasting: Smokey Joe Sauces

Come to our Food Shop between 11am to 3pm to sample some of the award-winning sauces made by The Smokey Joe Sauce Company, based in Horrabridge, Devon.

The company was founded by Joe and Nicola Knight.  Their time spent living and travelling in the Carribbean gave them a passion for island cuisine, and inspired them to recreate and share some of their favourite flavours.

Their unique and authentic sauces are based on a hotchpotch of recipes collected along the way. Having begun with their flagship Jerk Marinade in the summer of 2009, the range has rapidly grown to include a host of delicious sauces, including spicy Banana Ketchup, Bahama Mama and Mojo sauces and Bajan seasoning.  Their Jerk Marinade is made using only natural ingredients - fragrant herbs and spices are combined with fiery Scotch Bonnet chillies to create this ultimate marinade.
