Our ever-popular annual fair, featuring a game meats BBQ, cookery demonstrations, artisan food stalls, wildlife and country sports information, apple bobbing and traditional apple pressing with Gordon Hill of Bowhayes Farm. Bring your apples for crushing into juice (BYO containers). Delicious seasonal fare is also on offer in our restaurant and shop. Buy a pumpkin to take home for Halloween, or carve your own on the day. In association with Country Sports South West.

Other attractions for the day include:

  • Artisan food and drink stallsoffering tastings and expert insights from a number of local producers,including: Bowhayes Farm, Capreolus Fine Foods, Courtneys of Whimple, Edgar Berry Market Garden, High Copley Farm, Waterhouse Fayre and traditional apple pressing with Gordon Hill of Bowhayes Farm
  • Stalls from Devon Wildlife Trust, RSPBandCountry Sports South West, as well ascountryside expertise fromChris Holland and John Hayes

 

The Devon Food Shop will also offer Spiced Apple Spiral bread as its bread of the day, and wine tastings from Lyme Bay Winery. We will also be raffling off a prize hamper containing food and gifts from the local suppliers taking part, worth £50. The Fair takes place on Saturday 22nd October between 11am to 4pm, and entry is free.
