Tipitina hail from Preston, but their music is rooted firmly in New Orleans. This young, hotly tipped trio play a devastating mix of swing, boogie woogie, jive and blues, that is utterly beguiling and original. Championed by BBC Radio 2's Paul Jones, their latest CD has been attracting rave reviews.
