From North Carolina, Chuck is an extraordinary musical storyteller, who captivates audiences with his dry, barb-witted social commentaries, infused with humanity, compassion and humour. His colourful lyrics tell the stories of everyday folk muddling through their lives, and are delivered with a well-travelled voice and amazing finger-picking guitar technique that draws on influences from the Carolina mountains, and traditional American folk. He's appeared in concert with Arlo Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Richie Havens and John Hartford, among many others.
