Set beside the River Otter in one of Devon's most beautiful valleys and just a mile or so from East Devon's magnificent world heritage coast, ottertonmill is an altogether different kind of experience. A centuries old working watermill, a famous bakery and shop brim full of superb local produce, a fabulous restaurant serving food to die for and a gallery selling work from a selection of the best artists from Devon, Dorset and Somerset. The Mill boasts four superb resident artists who can be visited working in their own studios. We also promote world class music and the Mill is now recognised as the south west’s leading roots music venue. There is also an annual programme of other events, for instance to celebrate national apple day.
But that's not all...at ottertonmill we have worked hard to create an overall atmosphere designed to revive the soul and satisfy the senses. It is a place to relax, to unwind, to explore, to escape to and most of all to enjoy. |
