Our philosophy about food is simple. We believe in using top quality, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, combined in simple recipes and cooked to perfection.
We're lucky that in our part of the world we have some of the most productive farmland in England and a marvellously sympathetic climate. We also have a thriving and expanding local food culture that is learning how to use this combination of land and climate to best advantage.
Our commitment to local produce and growers has been recognised in the Devon Food Awards. We also appear in many food guides and were specially commended in Rick Stein's 'Local Food Heroes'.
